Initial Discussion

Contact me with what you know. The information may be as basic as “6 chairs” or more specific- including inspiration photos, styles, features and/or configurations you do/do not want.

Follow up discussion via phone call, meeting at shop and/or emails to ask/answer questions, fill in important details, and draw out design preferences you might not have words for yet. This discussion also serves to clarify what we know and what is to be determined in the design phase.

Chair Fitting, Design & Quote

I create a Design Proposal outlining what we know and what is TBD and ballpark estimate based on available information.

An estimated 10% Design Deposit leads to a personalized chair fitting where we dial in all the variables to get that just right fit.

Measurements are combined with style/design preferences to create 3D project drawings with design options and revisions as necessary to reach approved design. I keep you informed if options are similar/slightly/significantly more/less, with final quote based on approved design.

Approve & Build

I create a mockup chair with your measurements and style to confirm the fit is just right.

50% deposit allows me to secure materials and place the project on my shop calendar. Balance due upon completion.

I use high-quality hardwoods from my network of local mills/suppliers and time-honored techniques to build you a precision-crafted dining chairs that will last.

Upon completion I deliver your dining chairs, you pick them up at the shop or they is carefully packed and shipped.
