Custom Dining Tables

Initial Discussion

Contact me with what you know. The information may be as basic as “a table that typically seats 4, but can extend to seat 10” or more specific- including dimensions, inspiration photos, styles, features and/or configurations you do/do not want.

Follow up discussion via phone call, meeting at shop and/or emails to ask/answer questions, fill in important details, and draw out design preferences you might not have words for yet. This discussion also serves to clarify what we know and what is to be determined in the design phase.

Design & Quote

I create a Design Proposal outlining what we know and what is TBD and ballpark estimate based on available information.

An estimated 10% Design Deposit leads to 3D project drawings with design options and revisions as necessary to reach approved design. I keep you informed if options are similar/slightly/significantly more/less, with final quote based on approved design.

If initial discussion leads to a clear detailed design, we may proceed directly to a quote.

Approve & Build

50% deposit allows me to secure materials and place the project on my shop calendar. Balance due upon completion.

I use high-quality hardwoods from my network of local mills/suppliers and time-honored techniques to build you a precision-crafted dining table that will last.

Upon completion I deliver your dining table, you pick it up at the shop or it is carefully packed and shipped.
